Bürkle Hungary and the Introduction of ORSY®mat FP Machines
Bürkle is one of the leading international manufacturers in the fields of material handling, surface coating, and photovoltaic manufacturing technology. The over 100-year-old German company offers innovative, customised solutions worldwide. At their Hungarian site, the goal is to achieve the highest quality and efficiency, which is why they chose Würth Industry's ORSY®mat FP automated storage systems.
The Challenge
At the Hungarian plant, the storage and handling of various auxiliary materials, tools, and high-value equipment became an increasing challenge for the company. The goal was to find a solution that would ensure transparent inventory management, quick access, and secure storage.
The Solution
Two new ORSY®mat FP vending machines were installed on-site. These windowed vending machine storage systems are ideal for the simple, safe, and efficient handling of consumables and auxiliary materials, as they are modular, customisable, and automated.
To serve Bürkle's needs as efficiently as possible, these advantages were fully utilised: their internal design and compartment layout were customised to ensure that all necessary products had a place. During the installation, the existing vending machines were also integrated into the system, saving space and costs.
The main advantage of the machines is the rental function. This allows the partner to place their own products in the system, which employees can "borrow" when needed. The built-in tracking system accurately records who took out the tool and when, and whether it was returned to the storage at the end of the shift. This is particularly important for high-value tools, which are always kept safe yet ready for use.
